2023 Race Information
Each Thanksgiving Day the Utica Roadrunners host their annual Run 2 End Hunger. This event has been running for 38 consecutive years on Thanksgiving morning! 100% of the proceeds and food will benefit local nonprofit food pantries. The run follows the 5K Development Run course through Valley View and the Eagle pathways.
The 39th Annual Run 2 End Hunger will be held on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Registration for this family-friendly run/walk will take place in-person on Thanksgiving Day at the Utica Recreation Center, located at 220 Memorial Parkway, starting at 8am until 8:45am. Online registration will be coming soon as well to avoid the crowds!
The 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk will start promptly at 9:00am. The cost is $10 per person and $25 per family, plus a minimum of 3 nonperishable items per person. For those bringing children under the age of 18, a waiver form will need to be filled out during in-person registration. Waiver forms will be available for signature at the start of the run on the Memorial Parkway.
All food donations can be dropped off prior to registration that morning. As in the last 16 plus years, we'd like to give a special thanks for the support of the Greater Utica Sunrise Rotary Club for their time collecting food each Thanksgiving morning.
All food donations will be taken directly the Utica Rescue Mission. All monies collected will be donated to a great local organization, Utica Center for Development. Please join us this year as we walk and run to benefit our great community.
